John Neufield spoke at DesignJam's BigTent Waterloo, where he helped tackle the task of improving food and housing security in the Waterloo region.
He is the Executive Director of House of Friendship, a multi-service organization focused on housing, addictions treatment, food security, and community development. Prior to serving at HoF, John had the incredible opportunity of working with foster children/youth at Bridgeway Family Homes for 11 years. Academically, John has a Bachelor of Technology (CMU), BA in Social Development Studies (UW), Masters of Social Work (UoT), and a Masters of Business Administration (WLU). In his volunteering, John chairs the MEDA Waterloo Chapter, an association that creates business solutions to poverty around the world through micro-finance.
